Social Media Strategist
Remote Contractor Position (15 Hours Weekly)
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Liaising with the client organization to develop a social media strategy
Development and ongoing management of social media content calendars
Manage, create and publish original, high quality content
Administer client's social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content
Liaise with designers and writers to ensure content is informative and appealing
Facilitate client-company communication (respond to queries, get reviews and organize chats and Q&A sessions)
Use social media marketing tools such as Sprout Social
Light to moderate design of social media graphic templates/GIFs
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on key social media metrics and provide analysis
Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
We are looking for candidates who have:
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube social media best practices
Practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
Strong understanding of social media KPIs
Outstanding multitasking skills
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Good organizational and time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Scrappiness, proactiveness, and drive to action
Analytical mindset and are an "out of the box" thinker
Expectations and qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in social media for B2B companies
Expertise in tools: Sprout Social, Google Analytics, and HubSpot
Light to moderate graphic design skills using Canva
Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment
Applicant must be able to work individually
Applicant must have a keen attention detail
